THE LESSON

 

1- CHOOSE THE HISPANIC PERSON YOU WOULD LIKE TO PORTRAY ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

     a- Current Events.

     b- The lesson you are teaching.

     c- Student interest.

     d- Teacher interest.

 

2- FIND OR TRANSLATE THE PERSON'S BIOGRAPHY IN SPANISH.

     You can use Wikipedia in Spanish (be aware of spelling mistakes) or other resources on line like CNN, BBC,ESP, or the Biography Channel. 

3- ERASE SOME RELEVANT INFORMATION FROM THE BIOGRAPHY AND MAKE COPIES FOR STUDENTS.

4- PRESENT THE HISPANIC PERSON OF THE WEEK IN SPANISH AND HAVE STUDENTS COMPLETE THE MISSING INFORMATION.

5- YOU CAN COLLECT STUDNETS PAPERS TO CHECK THEM OR YOU CAN PROVIDE THEM WITH THE COMPLETE BIOGRAPHY SO THEY CAN CHEK ON THEIR OWN.

6- START EVERY CLASS ASKING QUESTIONS IN SPANISH ABOUT THE HISPANIC PEOPLE YOU HAVE PRESENTED DURING THE SEMESTER. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REMEMBER TO DEDICATE AT LEAST 5 MINUTES DURING EACH CLASS TO TALK ABOUT THE HISPANIC PEOPLE OF THE WEEK :)
